Every new year, instead of making a New Year's Resolution, I seek God to know His Prophetic Word for me for the new year - what I am to believe Him for, how I am to respond to Him, how He wants to make Himself known to me. Last year, He gave me one word, "Sparkle". It was an interesting and exciting word to me - as the year progressed I believe I was able to respond to that word more and more.
Although it is near the end of this year, I have not heard from the Lord yet, so I am not sure what He has in mind. However, I am waiting on Him patiently.
We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, grown inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. for in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. Rom. 8:22 - 25 NIV
